We’ve written before about the growth of online sports betting, how it brings in money to states and regions that wouldn’t have it otherwise, and so much more. It’s been incredibly gratifying to see sports betting spread across the United States, bringing joy (and victory) to so many. That said, there’s plenty of growth to go. We’ve just seen its success in Maryland and it looks like we’re soon to see it in another great and very large state: Texas.
Online Sports Betting Bill Will Pass
According to “Saturday Down South,” it seems that “Sports Betting Alliance Confident Texas Online Sports Betting Bill Will Pass in 2023.”
Sure, it may seem that we’ve just had an election here in America, but the next election is always right around the corner. To that end, the Texas Sports Betting Alliance is, according to the article, “confident the eventually-introduced legislation will have the necessary votes in both the Texas House and Senate to be approved for the November 2023 general election ballot.”
Truthfully, it’s difficult for many to believe that Texas doesn’t already have legalized sports gambling, but that’s the way it is with many states. Hopefully, in the days to come, sports gambling won’t just be legalized in Texas but all throughout the 50 states and beyond.
